English-taught Degree Programs

TU Dortmund University offers many Master's degree programs and Master's specializations that are conducted entirely in English. The most relevant information about the application, contents, structure of the degree programs and cooperation partners can be found here at a glance. Please note that this is an overview of all Master's degree programs offered in English.

For many degree programs, the so-called Studiengangjahresregelung applies: This means that the start of studies is always in the winter semester. Consequently, within the standard period of study, students can only be placed in odd semesters in the winter semester and in even semesters in the summer semester.

There are several ways to apply for the Master’s degree program. If you have acquired a university degree in Germany, please apply via the Student Registration Office.

If your graduation documents are from abroad, you can find comprehensive information about the application procedure on the website of the International Office.

If you are interested in the SPRING Master's program, please contact the Department of Spatial Planning for application information. Applications are made directly to the Department of Spatial Planning. Information on how to apply can be found on the website of the degree program.
